The latest culinary destination to open on Baku’s main boulevard by the Caspian Sea, TOSCA is a vibrant interpretation of coastal Italian lifestyle within an urban setting. A unique dining environment created by hip London creative studio Blue Sky Hospitality, the venue offers a vast range of experiences spread over 2,200 SqM of internal and external dining space.
The authentic Tuscan kitchen is headed by Executive Chef Martin Repetto and Restaurant Chef Fabrizio de Lorio. With their talented team they prepare daily all the delicious dishes for the TOSCA menu, including gourmet pizza, delicious salads and grills, classic and creative pastries and ice-creams.
Tosca has been conceived as a stylish, modern trattoria with theatrical features such a gelateria, a pasticceria, an espresso bar, a wine bar and a dynamic open kitchen with wood-fired oven.
The large exterior terrace planted with mature fig, olive and cypress trees has been a local meeting place for decades, Today the outdoors scene has been updated with theatrical lighting, a limoncello bar and an ice-cream cold stone station where a virtuoso chef will blend fresh gelato flavours, nuts and fruits on an iced marble slab.
The brand identity, scenography and interior design have been created and developed in the smallest detail by creative director Henry Chebaane and his team, also behind the trend-setting restaurant CHINAR.
For TOSCA they took inspiration from the olive groves, fig orchards and Sangiovese vineyards of the Tuscan coast and Umbrian countryside to create a scheme of vibrant greens and warm reds, honey-coloured burr elm joinery, walnut timber floors and aged pewter ceiling.
The exciting dining space includes several culinary retail units clad in an unusual combination of shimmering bronze glass mosaics and cool white linen Corian.
Nautical warehouse lighting, tins and jars of imported grocery and aromatic herbs contribute to the congenial, laid-back atmosphere of this very delightful culinary emporium.
